KISUMU, Kenya,11th August- The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has announced that it will apply the use of smart and advanced technology as a means of eliminating graft during its forthcoming recruitment service.

NPSC’s Commissioner, Prof. Collete Suda, said the use of digital platforms will minimise human interface as much as possible.

Speaking in Kisumu during the Draft Public Participation and Written Memoranda on NPSC (Recruitment and Appointment) Regulations, 2025, Prof. Suda noted that indeed corruption has in the past marred the entire exercise.

We will recruit a total of some 10,000 officers with high consideration for diversity and regional balance,” she said.

The Draft Regulations 2025, which were conducted in various fora across the country, aim to provide standardised frameworks for the recruitment of the members of the Service, promoting transparency and selections based on merit.
