More than 700 Kondele,Manyatta Residents Benefit from Free Medical Camp

Kondele,July 2026 -More than 700 Kondele and Manyatta residents in Kisumu Central Subcounty received medical services and medicine during a free camp organised by Bob CEO Foundation as a long term Community Service Responsibility (CSR), aimed at helping the less fortunate and those in need in the Society.


According to Kavin Makavi the foundation’s director, the noble initiative will go along way in addressing access to healthcare especially malaria which was identified as the most communicable disease.

“Kisumu County is now experiencing long rains related ailments which has been a concern especially on middle aged persons in the Society,” Makavi said during the exercise.

He added that the exercise was a collaboration between Kisumu businessman Bob Onyango Ceo and management, and local medical health personnel from Gesoko Medical Health Partners who supported the initiative.

During the exercise, several cases such as malaria, other communicable and non-communicable ailments were dealt with.Severe cases were referred to other health facilities and the foundation assured that they will make a follow up by providing the much-needed financial support.

On his part, Onyango noted that this is not the first time they were conducting such massive free medical exercise to the sprawling informal settlement in Kisumu city and its environs.

During the program,the residents also received various health services including screening for hypertension and diabetes,free treatment of minor illness of both children and adults,HIV testing, awareness, and malaria.

“200 individuals underwent free registration of SHA to ensure most families access medical services regardless of their financial situation.”
