KISUMU, Kenya –The Kisumu Central police officers have this morning arrested two burglars and recovered the stolen electronics.
The two are believed to be behind a string of burglaries reported in the Milimani area in Kisumu County. They were intercepted following a tip-off, with officers catching them in the act as they loaded suspected stolen household goods.
According to a police report seen by the Eye Watch Media on 25th November 2025, the suspects attempted to escape but were quickly apprehended.
Several household items believed to have been stolen were recovered at the scene, among them a 65-inch television set, assorted electronics, gym equipment, a CCTV camera, a cool box, a solar panel, a projector and other personal belongings.
Investigators have also linked the two to an earlier break-in at the same residence, where laptops, a gas cylinder and various dumbbell weights were reported missing.
The suspects are currently being held at Kisumu Central Police Station and are expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow once investigations are completed as the vehicle used in the alleged burglary has been seized as part of the ongoing probe.
