KISUMU, Kenya- The Agricultural Society of Kenya (A.S.K) show to be held in Kisumu is expected to attract about 150 exhibitors.
The ASK Chairman George Ong’udi yesterday confirmed that some 93 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in the annual event.
Speaking after a meeting with the Nyanza regional commissioner Flora Mworoa, Ong’udi said all visitors are and local residents are cordially invited.
‘All residents of Kisumu City and the Lake Basin Economic Bloc are welcomed to the 2025 Kisumu Regional Show.” Ong’udi said.
Ong’udi announced that this year’s event will take place from Wednesday, 16th to Sunday July 20th July 2025 at the Mamboleo Showground.
He welcomed show-goers to come and experience the agricultural and trade excellence of the Lakeside region.
The theme of the 2025 ASK show, Ongudi outlined is “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.”
He said the show is expected to attract exhibitors from diverse sectors, including Agriculture, Manufacturing, Housing, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Banking, Public and Private Sector Institutions, Hospitality, and Education.
Attendees,he said, can explore a host of new technologies and innovations on display, showcasing the latest advancements in these industries.

Through its annual events,Ong’udi said, the ASK Shows continues to emphasize the importance of adopting climate-smart initiatives in agriculture and trade, aligning with the national government’s agenda for sustainable economic growth.
Ong’udi said the Kisumu Regional Show remains a vital platform for sharing critical knowledge and innovations.
Through exhibits, workshops, and on-site training sessions,he noted, exhibitors will showcase new and emerging innovations and advanced technologies that benefit Kisumu City County and its environs.
‘‘The Mamboleo Showground will be the ultimate destination for these five exciting days of innovation, learning, and community spirit.’’ he said.
He urged learning institutions to take advantage of the event by sending students there.
On her part Mworoa said there will be adequate security throughout the event.
She called on members of the public to turn up in large numbers for the annual event.
The administrator said the show offers a lot of opportunities for members of the public and exhibitors alike to learn new things.
