MANYATTA B, Kisumu July 26 –Mourners in Daraja Mbili, Manyatta B area, were targeted by armed robbers at the homestead of the late Susan Achieng’ Otieno.
Following a distress call from one of the mourners, officers from Kasagam Police Station on a foot patrol swiftly responded to the scene.
With the assistance of the community, three suspects were arrested, while their accomplices fled.
Police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the remaining suspects.
The National Police Service commends the community’s vigilance and appeals for any information that may lead to further arrests.
