Elected leaders from the Nyanza region have demanded the arrest of all individuals involved in the brutal killing of a teacher from Homa Bay.
The leaders while condemning the brutal killing of the teachers said there are no sacred cows when it comes to the dispensation of justice,
“The angry leaders have called for a speedy hearing into the murder of the teacher, namely Albert Ojwang.”
Led by Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga the leaders said the incident is regrettable and should be condemned in the strongest terms possible.
Speaking at a church function in Kisumu the leaders wondered why such cruelty was meted out on the late Ojwang.

Wanga, who doubles up as ODM party Chairperson, said those involved in the brutal incident should be brought to book.
She wondered why Ojwang was killed in the first place.
Also joining the onslaught on the incident were legislators Rosa Buyu (Kisumu West), Dr Eve Obara (Kabondo), Ruth Odinga (Kisumu County Woman Rep.), and Dr Joshua Oron (Kisumu Central).
Buyu, on her part, said the Kenya Kwanza regime promised to stop extrajudicial killings and wondered what had happened.
Dr Oron said Kenyans must be told why the late Ojwang was killed in that manner.
They called for greater accountability on the part of the government.
Various teacher unions have also come out strongly in condemning the heinous killings.
